ICCAMS 2 Research Project

The ICCAMS 2 research project will work with secondary schools over the next two years to support maths staff in developing Year 7 and Year 8 students’ maths understanding, ability and confidence in order to investigate the impact of the ICCAMS (Increasing Competence and Confidence in Algebra and Multiplicative Reasoning) Maths programme.  

The programme will involve 110 schools nationally across five regional areas and is being led jointly by the Universities of Durham, Nottingham and Manchester.  The programme is funded.

  • Dorset Heads of Maths – 22nd June 
  • Devon Heads of maths – 23rd June
