NPQ in Leading Primary Maths | Limited Scholarships | Apply Now!

Become an expert in developing mathematics in your school or Trust!  The NPQ in Leading Primary Mathematics (NPQLPM) will equip you with the knowledge and skills, experience and network to know how to lead Maths in your setting.  This course builds on the knowledge you already have as an experienced teacher of middle leader, in addition to your prior learning about Maths Mastery, and focuses on what you need to know and be able to do to effectively lead the Maths practice of others.

Leading Schools South West and SWIFT will be delivering the NPQ LPM in the Autumn Term (October 2024) and the application window for the programme is now open.  The DfE have allocated scholarships for this important NPQ, but they are limited.  They encourage early application to secure a funded allocation.  To meet the eligibility criteria, all applicants must have a minimum of 1 year’s participation of the Maths Hub Teaching for Mastery programme, or a programme equivalent.  The programme is delivered through a combination of seminars, online learning modules, conferences and focused work on implementation and culminates in a summative NPQ assessment.

LSSW’s expert local facilitators will likely be familiar faces to you as they are closely associated with your local Maths hubs.  This ensures the programme is exemplified by local experts who understand the context of your school in the region as well as the national maths education landscape.

Whilst the application window closes on 13 September, we urge you to apply as soon as possible as they anticipate that demand for the funded places will be greater than the numbers available.  To apply, please complete the application form HERE and to find out more information, please visit the LSSW website.
