NPQ in Leading Primary Maths | Limited Scholarships | Apply Now!

SWIFT Teaching School Hubs in partnership with Leading Schools South West are inviting applications for the NPQ in Leading Primary Mathematics.

Join us on the NPQ in Leading Primary Mathematics (NPQLPM) starting this April and gain the tools to create a powerful whole-school mathematics strategy. Our NPQLPM, from Lead Provider Teach First, curriculum has been developed in partnership with several subject matter experts, including staff from Maths Hubs across the country. Hear from one of our Development Leads, Hayley Gold, about the programme:

“Primary mathematics is important because it provides the building blocks for children to become confident in the fundamentals of mathematics, equipping them to be successful with ‘everyday’ mathematics. The leadership of primary mathematics is essential to ensure a rigorous curriculum is sequenced and taught effectively so that all children can reach their potential.”

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE NPQLPM
  • Flexible training that fits around your schedule and prior knowledge.
  • The latest research and pedagogy in a curriculum developed with subject matter experts.
  • Opportunities for free 1:1 support, coaching and networking with colleagues in similar roles.
WHAT SKILLS WILL I GAIN DURING THE PROGRAMME?
  • Deepen your understanding of the core principles underpinning mastery approaches to teaching mathematics.
  • Extend your knowledge of how children learn the subject.
  • Gain practical tools and guidance to lead your school’s approach.
  • Learn to support colleagues effectively.
