This is for primary schools who have previously taken part in a Teaching for Mastery Work Group and want to continue to deepen and embed their approach.

This is funded by the Maths Hubs Programme; there is no charge for participating schools.
Are you interested in Mastering Number at Reception and KS1 or Mastering Number at KS2? Engaging with either Mastering Number will complement work as part of a Primary Teaching for Mastery Work Group.

What this programme offers
This Work Group will develop your understanding and leadership practice through collaboration with others and engaging in core activities such as observing and discussing live maths lessons. The Work Groups will have an average of 12 schools as members, and will involve leaders and teachers working together over time.
Expectations
Across the year, participants will collaborate to explore effective leadership, observe live teaching for mastery, implement aspects such as lesson design and refine systems to maximize impact on pupils.
These Work Groups are ongoing and schools participate year on year to strive towards improved pupil outcomes through embedding teaching for mastery principles.
